Christina Wilson, M.Ed., CCC-SLP

Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist

As a speech therapist and a mom of three young children, I relate to my clients on a personal and professional level.

My own journey with stuttering, late-diagnosed ADD, and that tricky "R" sound - as well as my children's similar challenges - has given me compassion and empathy for the families that I work with. I know that every child learns differently, and I am passionate about teaching them to dive into their strengths, try hard things, and fall in love with learning. I give lots of verbal affirmation and encouragement to help my clients feel confident and capable of communicating!

After graduating with my master's degree in Communication Disorders from Georgia State University, I spent several years working at a speech therapy clinic, specializing in treating late talkers, language disorders, and speech sound disorders. Once I transitioned into private practice, I gained additional training in academic language programs and multi-sensory, structured literacy programs. Now, I bring all of these experiences into my work with PASS of Atlanta, where I hope to create a safe place for families to learn, grow, and connect.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, boating, and trying out new restaurants in Atlanta. I also spend a good amount of time ubering my children to baseball or dance, volunteering at their school, folding their laundry, and doing kid-friendly activities... and I wouldn't change it for the world!

With years of experience working with and advocating for the neurodivergent community, I have developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges and strengths of children with sensory, emotional and motor differences. My work focuses on sensory integration, motor coaching, and ADL (Activities of Daily Living) support, all aimed at helping children achieve their fullest potential.

As a pediatric occupational therapist, I am passionate about empowering children. I believe in the power of play and creativity in therapy, using innovative and engaging methods to make each session both enjoyable and effective. My approach is rooted in neurodiversity-affirming practices, ensuring that every child's individual needs and strengths are recognized and celebrated.

In addition to my clinical work, I am a dance teacher and studio manager.  I help kids develop essential motor and social skills while sharing my passion for dance. My unique blend of expertise in dance and occupational therapy allows me to create a nurturing and supportive environment where children can thrive.
